Remembrance Gifts

We would like to make it clear that we do not endorse or profit from the links we have on the website. They are part of our endeavour to provide bereaved parents with easy access to a wide range of websites dedicated to gifts in memory of their little ones. We understand how important it is to feel safe when searching for something so special. When I was looking for things I could do to honour Lily it was incredibly difficult. At the time, it meant spending hours trawling through new baby websites which was utterly heartbreaking and then having to contact someone who perhaps does not understand the importance of making such special memories. The links below mean that anyone struggling to find ways that suit them to honour the memory of their precious child can access some places of comfort and remembrance. They can feel safe, they can find sensitivity and care.

When all you wanted to be doing was buying things for your new baby, and what you end up doing is searching for things to honour their memory, it is so helpful to be guided and protected.

Remembrance Jewellery, Jo Dix, Silver Forge

Remembrance keepsakes can offer a unique source of comfort when living with the overwhelming grief of losing your baby. They provide a point of focus for your memories and are a tangible symbol of the all too brief existence of your little one.

We understand how hard it can be to do even the smallest thing when you are grieving, and that you may hardly feel up to looking for a special momemto. Our wish is to provide you with some places to look, some ideas, and most of all to introduce you to some inspiring, compassionate and wonderful people who are creating truly special remembrance keepsakes.

 Jewellery

The daughter of a dear friend of mine presented me with a necklace she made for me in memory of Lily, it means so much to me, it is my touchstone, it keeps Lily with me and it brings me a sense of peace. I feel so blessed that she made this especially for me. I have recently added a beautiful fused glass pendant to the necklace that was again made specially for me by a wonderful local jeweller; Jo Dix at Silver Forge Jewellery.

I met Jo at a time when my heart was aching with sorrow, just over a year after Lily's stillbirth. I needed something to help me, it was Christmas time, and I was missing Lily terribly. I took myself out to a small local Christmas craft fair to give myself some gentle distraction from the pain. There I saw the most angelic, etherial piece of jewellery and felt a rush of warmth in my heart. The piece was too big to sit next to my delicate heart pendant comfortably, so Jo offered to make me a smaller one. This now lays with my heart and Lily's heart and brings me untold comfort.

Thank you Jo for your kindness, sensitivity and warmth.  x

Connecting with Angels

I recently met Phillippa Lee who is a glass artist.

Phillippa makes these beautiful angels. She worked for some years as an energy healer and now creates these lovely stained glass angels whilst holding the intention of love and healing for the recipient.

We are hoping to include one of these angels in every Remembrance Box we make, we believe they are a truly special keepsake, made with love and given with compassion for every parent who receives one.

Angels are made in a selection of colours and she can be hung by her halo in a window, or placed in a special place to remind you of love.

If you would like to see more of Phillippa's work, visit her website.

October 15th International Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Day + Global Wave of Light
We are very grateful to Scott and Claire for their generous hospitality in hosting us for our annual Remembrance Celebration. We invite you to join us for a very special evening remembering and celebrating all our babies and children gone to soon.
On this special date, we will light candles and be part of the global wave of light around the world. It will be an evening of remembering and honouring our babies, sharing and connecting with those who have travelled this path and those who help us to travel it.
If you would like to come along, please join our event on Facebook - to help us prepare for accommodating you.

Doors open 6pm please come early to allow time for candle lighting and putting an angel on our remembrance tree in memory of your baby or child.
There will be tea and coffee afterwards and time to talk and connect with each other.
We hope to see you there, message or email Val with any questions you may have, I will do my best to answer - enquiries@tigerlilytrust.co.uk

We understand that some of you may wish to join us for the Remembrance Celebration but be unable to attend - with this in mind we would like to offer you a way to include your precious babies too. If you send us their name in an email we will honour them by lighting a candle for them and speaking their name with all our babies during the ceremony.
United we honour our precious ones, together we help each other to heal.
Love and blessings, Val x x x
