We are presently unable to accept any further crocheted items as we are extremely well stocked thanks to the kind and generous crocheters who have supported us so beautifully in the past. Please email us if you would like to enquire if there is anything specific we need.
We are very grateful for every beautiful donation we have received in the past for us to give to bereaved parents for their precious baby. We feel very blessed to have had some wonderfully talented crocheters who generously donated their time, skill and work so that we may provide these special items for families in need in our local area. The fact that each piece of work is lovingly made by hand is so meaningful to our parents, it communicates that someone is caring, thoughtful and sending them love at such a heartbreaking time.

The Easiest Crochet Heart Pattern
Skill: Easy
Materials:
Size I (5.50mm) crochet hook
Scissors
Tapestry or yarn needle
White or ivory 4ply or double knitting yarn or any similar weight yarn
Abbreviations:
sl st = slip stitch
sl st = slip stitch
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
trc = treble crochet
st(s) = stitch(es)
Directions:
ch 5; join with sl st to form a loop.
Round 1:
ch 3.
10 dc and 1 sl st in first ch st.
Round 2:
ch 3; 3 trc in same st.
3 trc in next st.
1 dc, 1 hdc in next st.
1 sc in next 2 sts.
1 sc, 1 dc, 1 sc in next st.
1 sc in next 2 sts.
1 hdc, 1 dc in next st.
3 trc in next st.
3 trc, 1 dc in next st.
sl st in first st.
Cut yarn, tie off, and weave in ends.
Small Heart
Original Design By: Maggie Weldon
Size: About 2¼” wide, 2″ tall.
Materials: Worsted Weight Yarn white or ivory – 6 yds
Crochet Hook: Size I-9 (5.50 mm)
Pattern
Heart
Rnd 1: (Right Side) Ch 4, join with sl st to first ch to form ring; ch 1, [3 hdc in ring, ch 2] 4 times; join with sl st to first hdc. (12 hdc and 4 ch-2 sps)
Row 2: [(Dc, 5 htr, dc) in center hdc of next 3-hdc group, sl st in next ch-2 sp] twice. Finish off and weave in ends.
Butterflies for Angels
Materials used
Crochet hook 1.25 mm(USA: 8; UK: 3)
Double knit yarn in white and pale pink, or blue (or whatever you prefer in pale shades as in the picture) for edging the wings. Yarn with a little sparkle in it also looks very beautiful.-

sc - single crochet
sl st - slip stitch
dc - double crochet
The Pattern
Begin With white yarn, ch 10, close ring by inserting hook into 1st st, sl st.
Round 1
Ch 2 (counts as first dc), work 2 dc, ch 3,*work 3 dc into the center of the ring, ch 3, repeat from *
until you altogether have 24 dc and 8 loops (created by the chs), sl st into second ch of the beginning of round 1.
Ch 2 (counts as first dc), work 2 dc, ch 3,*work 3 dc into the center of the ring, ch 3, repeat from *
until you altogether have 24 dc and 8 loops (created by the chs), sl st into second ch of the beginning of round 1.
Round 2 Work 3 dc – 3 ch – 3 dc into each of the loops of round 1, sl st into first dc, cut yarn.
Round 3 (last round)
Change color When having slipknot on hook, insert hook where you have cut yarn and work 1 sc.
Work 5 dc – 3 ch – 5 dc into loop of round 2, 1 sc, repeat until round is finished, sl st into first sc, cut yarn.
Finish Weave in yarn ends.
With white yarn again, ch 15.
Fold the butterfly in the middle, put the ch around it, insert hook into 6th ch from the beginning, sl st, ch 5 more, cut yarn. Finished.
Crochet Star Angel Blanket
This is a relatively quick project and is a perfect gift for a little angel baby and their parents Changing the colours is optional, we prefer the main colour to be white with the narrower band being cream, or palest shades of green, lemon, pink, blue or lavender.

When crocheting this blanket:
- The secret is the colour that is separating the bands of white. For example, in the blanket shown, there are 3 rounds of white and then 1 then 2 bands of lemon.
- Optional: In the final round you could mix a soft eye lash yarn with the white to give it a fuzzy glimmery look.
About this Blanket
- Using any yarn that compliments at Size J or 6.0 mm Crochet Hook.
- Or change your hook size to compliment your yarn
- Decide what colours work for you. I strongly recommend using a pale colour to separate your white groups.
- We are working on crocheting about 15 rounds for the correct finished size, however slightly smaller or larger will be fine so long as they have a size matching pair.

- Ch 4 and join beginning stitch with a SL ST. Ch 3, 19 DC into the ring. SL ST to the top of the Beg Ch 3. (20 stitches)
- CH 1, SC into the same SL ST. *Skip 1 stitch, (3 DC, Ch 3, 3 DC) into the next stitch. Skip 1 stitch, SC into the next. Repeat from * all the way around. SL ST into Beg SC. SL ST into the next 2 stitches to begin next round.
- CH 3, 1 DC in next stitch, then (3 DC, Ch 3, 3 DC) into chain 3 gap space (point). 1 DC into the next 2 stitches. Skip 2 stitches. *1 DC into next two stitches, (3 DC, Ch 3, 3 DC) into gap space, 1 DC into next two stitches. Repeat from * all the way around. At the end, join with a SL ST, then SL ST 1 more stitch over to begin next round.
- Every round going forward is going to have two additional stitches added before you get to each point. CH 3, 1 DC in next 3 stitches, then (3 DC, Ch 3, 3 DC) into chain 3 gap space (point). 1 DC into the next 4 stitches. Skip 2 stitches. *1 DC into next 4 stitches, (3 DC, Ch 3, 3 DC) into gap space, 1 DC into next 4 stitches. Repeat from * all the way around. At the end, join with a SL ST, then SL ST 1 more stitch over to begin next round.
- You will notice there are more stitches before the gap point. Each point grows by 2 stitches on both sides of the point with each revolution. Anything in RED above going forward will be changed by adding 2 more stitches. Anything in BLUE is growing by 2 as well. Last revolution there was 4 DC’s before getting to the point, this revolution will be 6 DC’s… next revolution is 8 DC’s and so on.
You can stop at any point when your blanket has reached the size you most prefer to crochet.
