Tigerlily Trust Gourmet Evening

It is with a grateful heart that I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to every one who came along to the Tigerlily Trust Gourmet Evening at Lancaster Golf Club on Friday.
I also want to thank Stacey Bowman, Michael Weston-Cole and his team, Toastmaster Chris, and all the staff who looked after us and made the evening so special. The food was amazing, the wine flowed, I managed to make my speech almost without crying, and great music and dancing brought the evening to a perfect close.
It was a pleasure to meet such wonderful people and I thank you for sharing some of your stories with me. We received several wonderful offers of support in areas where it will allow us to extend the service we can offer to bereaved parents in the future.
I met for the first time a beautiful Mother Kirstin and her husband Keith who's angel daughter Elexa the evening was dedicated to, thank you both for being part of our Tigerlily Trust family and initiating an amazing event which will allow so many more families to receive our support in memory of Elexa. I can just imagine Elexa and Lily together, being extremely proud of what is being achieved in their honour.
It is with immense humility and gratitude that I can announce a total of £3,450 was raised on the night, and I believe that one of the prizes won in the raffle is going to be auctioned by the winner and the proceeds also donated to us.
I cannot adequately express how much this has meant to us, my heart is bursting with gratitude and it brings tears to my eyes that we have been supported so generously. It has been at times a challenging and exhausting journey, but this event has ensured that we can continue to provide the support we offer and has boosted my morale beyond words - THANK YOU.
Just as we were getting ready to say goodnight Stacey whispered to me, "next year we will make it even better!" I can't begin to describe how blessed we feel that we could be holding this fantastic event again, and I look forward to meeting those who said they would definitely come again if we held another one. What an evening! What generosity! What beautiful hearts! What a privilege it is to be part of this! THANK YOU!

October 15th International Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Day + Global Wave of Light
We are very grateful to Scott and Claire for their generous hospitality in hosting us for our annual Remembrance Celebration. We invite you to join us for a very special evening remembering and celebrating all our babies and children gone to soon.
On this special date, we will light candles and be part of the global wave of light around the world. It will be an evening of remembering and honouring our babies, sharing and connecting with those who have travelled this path and those who help us to travel it.
If you would like to come along, please join our event on Facebook - to help us prepare for accommodating you.

Doors open 6pm please come early to allow time for candle lighting and putting an angel on our remembrance tree in memory of your baby or child.
There will be tea and coffee afterwards and time to talk and connect with each other.
We hope to see you there, message or email Val with any questions you may have, I will do my best to answer -

We understand that some of you may wish to join us for the Remembrance Celebration but be unable to attend - with this in mind we would like to offer you a way to include your precious babies too. If you send us their name in an email we will honour them by lighting a candle for them and speaking their name with all our babies during the ceremony.
United we honour our precious ones, together we help each other to heal.
Love and blessings, Val x x x
